“I’ve tasted plenty of honeys at expos, but this one? The Trigona is something else, bold, earthy, and distinct. There’s a real story behind it, and that matters to our market,” kata Amal, buyer of specialty foods dari Qatar.
“We’re seeing a shift to traceable, natural products. Imago fits right into that direction,” ungkap Finn Becker, distributor makanan sehat dari Jerman.

“Kami datang bukan cuma buat pajang produk.

Tangerang, October 12, 2024 — Imago Raw Honey made its presence felt at the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), the country’s largest annual trade exhibition that brought together 33,000+ buyers from 114 countries, featuring 1,460 exhibitors and 1,200 local exporters.
Held at ICE BSD City, this year’s TEI carried the theme “Building Stronger Connections with the Best of Indonesia”, providing a key platform for showcasing Indonesia’s leading products to the international market. In addition to the exhibition itself, the event featured business matching sessions, buyers night, seminars, and cultural showcases.
The opening ceremony was attended by President Joko Widodo, along with top officials, including DPD Chairman Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, Coordinating Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani, and Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar. Also present were ambassadors, regional leaders, and international business delegates.
At the expo, Imago showcased three of its finest raw honey variants, Trigona Honey, Rosewood Honey, and Golden Honey, along with two signature innovations: Granola Honey (a wholesome honey-based snack), and I-Tox Honey (a spiced honey with lemon, red ginger, and cinnamon).
Imago’s booth attracted steady traffic from curious visitors to serious buyers, many of whom tasted the products, asked about sourcing and production, and initiated export or white-label discussions.
“I’ve tasted plenty of honeys at expos, but this one? The Trigona is something else, bold, earthy, and distinct. There’s a real story behind it, and that matters to our market,” said Amal, a specialty foods buyer from Qatar.
“This Granola Honey is super practical, clean packaging, nice crunch, not messy. Honestly, I could see this in gift hampers or souvenir shops without needing any changes,” said Clara, a gifting business owner from Bandung.
“We’re seeing a shift to traceable, natural products. Imago fits right into that direction,” said Finn Becker, a healthy food distributor from Germany.
For Imago, TEI 2024 wasn’t just a showcase, it was a strategic step forward in market expansion and brand positioning as a globally minded Indonesian honey producer.
“We didn’t come just to display products. At TEI, we got real insights, met potential partners, and opened up new export paths,” said Henry Hidayat, Founder of Imago Raw Honey.
“We’re open to white-label deals, hampers, distribution, as long as it aligns with who we are: honest, natural, and sustainable,” he added.
Through its participation at TEI 2024, Imago Raw Honey reaffirms its commitment to bringing the true taste of Indonesian honey to the global market, with quality, integrity, and a story worth sharing.
