Jakarta, 24 July 2025 – Imago Raw Honey participated in the 9th STS Forum ASEAN–Japan Conference 2025 as an innovative MSME, showcasing nature-based food solutions. Held at BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency) in Jakarta, the forum brought together research leaders, industry players, and academics from across ASEAN and Japan to strengthen cross-sector collaboration in science and technology.
Under the theme “Laying the Foundation for ASEAN–Japan Research Collaboration toward Sustainable Innovation and Future Society,” the conference focused on key issues including sustainable funding, researcher mobility, and the downstream application of research through partnerships with industry and start-ups.
One of Imago’s featured products was I-Tox Honey, a herbal honey blend developed through joint research with BRIN. Combining lemon, red ginger, and cinnamon, the product utilizes low-moisture technology to naturally extend its shelf life without the use of preservatives.
“We believe research shouldn’t stay in labs, it belongs in real life, in products people can use,” said Henry Hidayat, Founder of Imago Raw Honey.
Imago also introduced Granola Honey, a healthy snack made from corn flakes, premium nuts, and dried fruits, all coated in raw Indonesian forest honey with no added preservatives. Other featured variants included Rosewood Honey (less sweet) and Golden Honey (smooth and creamy).
For the gifting segment, Imago presented travel pouches containing sachets of Granola Honey and I-Tox Honey, along with corporate hampers and souvenir boxes. The brand also unveiled a new line of fortified honey, blended with pineapple, butterfly pea flower, strawberry, and moringa.
“At first, the moringa honey tasted like matcha, really nice and earthy. Then came this subtle bitterness in the aftertaste, which was pretty interesting,” said one curious visitor.
Imago’s participation in the STS Forum highlights how local enterprises can make meaningful contributions to a larger regional ecosystem of research and innovation, creating an impact that is both sustainable and grounded in nature.
